I remember attending a Sway Capital event where I heard Aliisa Rosenthal , OpenAI’s Former Head of Sales, mention how back in mid-2022, the OpenAI team was struggling to get adoption. At that time, the product was a model trained on 175 billion parameters and I was thinking to myself, “yeah, that’s overkill.”
Then, she explained how they added a chatbot frontend and that changed everything. On November 30, 2022, the world came to know ChatGPT and within 2 months, it amassed over 100 million users!
That memory is what sparked Sparx.
